Megan and I decided that we’ve had enough of constantly cleaning out the kitty litter. With three cats around it’s nearly an everyday project or we run the risk of the place smelling nasty. Even with two litter boxes in place it’s still a risk of smelling poo.
So we bought a LitterMaid Elite Mega Self-Cleaning Litter Box
The good news is that at least one of the cats is already using the box since there’s stuff in there. Another nicety is that it’s actually working correctly (unlike some of the reviews that I read).
Hopefully the cats get used to it and all start using it so that we can get rid of the secondary box that requires manual cleaning. I’ll give an update in a few months on this one (if I remember to).
Hopefully my days of scooping poop are nearly over!
