Are you over capacity?

A few weeks ago I had a guest post on Kate’s blog about the Power of No. Today I read a post by my friend, Brian Long, who did a wonderful job tying in the Twitter fail whale and your own capacity. My favorite line:

…if I had the option to put up a sign that said, “please wait a few minutes, I am trying to do too many things at once,” I would use it.

We all get in over our heads and need a way out of it. Twitter has birds, what do you have?

That would make a funny T-Shirt. Today happens to be one of those days where I could have worn that shirt. What a nutty day.

I loved this potential T-shirt sign! Should be part of the uniform for all Mums and Admin officers. Why do so many of us have trouble saying such a simple word? Probably because we fear the ramifications of a bad acceptance?

I’d like to say “a few months”, rather than “moments” :)

Seriously I need to say no more often, got projects coming out of my eyeballs! :(

I know that personally, I regret saying “no” out of fear of missing out on a good time.
