New Tech Toy, Megan, and Delicious Dinner

Megan gave me my belated Christmas present today (delayed on purpose and by request). So I was playing around with it while Megan was preparing dinner and I was surprised at the audio quality that it picked up while she was away from the camera.

By the way the dinner menu was:

Spicy Roasted Pork Chops
Roasted Brussels Sprouts
Sweet Potatoes

Megan has been doing Weight Watchers now for a few weeks and is doing very well.  The best part is that it doesn’t mean she eats crappy stuff. The meal tonight she said was 7 points total and she was very happy about that. I might need to eat some more later (actually now) since my stomach is wondering why I stopped, but I should probably let it keep doing that since I technically ate enough food, I’m just not used to it yet (I need to lose weight as well).

Yay for technology and tasty food

Weight Watchers is the bomb. I’ve lost more than 60 pounds on that program. Actually, I guess it’s more than 180 since I lost it three times (once before our wedding and again after each of our two kids!). Best of luck to Megan — and you if you jump on the bandwagon. :)

I did the quick test to see how many points I would be allowed to consume in a day and it ended up maxed out at 44… I’ll probably wait until June with a new apartment, but at least I know that when I’m at Megan’s I’m eating healthy. Also the mindset seems to be rubbing off on me when we’re together getting stuff.

      Also, she says ‘thanks!’

I did Weight Watchers last summer and lost 20 pounds. It’s hard at first because you suddenly realize how MUCH you were eating. But it’s a fantastic program.
