I’m a fan of the Facebook Ad System. The way they have it setup is awesome for targeting regions, sexes, ages, relationship status, and a ton of other tweaks. The reason for this is to get the most bang for your buck. A good example is why would I want to target an ad that obviously is for women to men? If I’m using impressions or even clicks, wouldn’t the money be better spent on women, and more specifically women that are listed as ‘engaged’?
This is what happened to me today. I login to Facebook and lo and behold I see an ad stating that I should know what type of wedding gown for my body type (by the way, if I were shopping for a gown shape type would be 4-person tent).
Obviously I want to look and feel gorgeous on my wedding day. I don’t think the people who host this ad have done enough research.
You know, the type of research that requires reading each option that is going to effect the type of return you get for your money? Â Really, it’s not that hard to click a checkbox.

Update: I feel better now that I have an ad with a guy shooting an automatic rifle for the Wisconsin SWAT program
