Most little kids (and adults) dream of seeing a dinosaur in real life. This was proven the other day by @sandentotten, @punsultant, and @agent_zero. It started with an article about findings that suggest the Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) may have actually been warm blooded. And the fact that cloning a T-Rex is an idea not lost on me. The conversation continued, including some interesting insights into what actually being able to clone a T-Rex might be able to solve. Here’s the conversation:
“This is a shocker – Evidence points to T-Rex being WARM BLOODED: http://is.gd/4SMp9” — sandentotten
“@sandentotten I hope the evidence they’re referring to was gathered from cloning a T-Rex” — punsultant
“@punsultant Cloning a T-Rex would be so cool though.” — sandentotten
“@sandentotten I think cloning a T-Rex is the only way. The only way for anything.” — punsultant
“@punsultant I like your attitude. Out of coffee? Clone a T-Rex! Run on the bank? Clone a T-Rex! It’s never not the right answer.” — agent_zero
“@agent_zero exactly. to acknowledge the fact that I agree with you, I will clone a T-Rex” — punsultant
“@punsultant In appreciation, I, too, will clone a T-Rex. this could get to be a problem. OR A SOLUTION.” — agent_zero
“@agent_zero let’s clone a T-Rex to find out.” — punsultant
“@punsultant I like this plan. To the Cloninator!” — agent_zero
I would have this up a few days ago, but Twitter lost the “in reply to” area for a few days. Either way, thanks guys for the epic lulz.
