I recently had a spark of genius something and started a new website. This somewhat explains why I’ve been a little quiet for the past week. I’ve been busy setting up the site and getting people to post on it.
The idea for the site came from my own frustration that no matter where I go online I’m connected with people I know and interact with. Yes, by posting this and announcing that I did it I’m kind of ruining posting over there for myself, but whatever. I don’t really need to be anonymous anymore. I’ve gotten pretty comfortable with what I have to say. For everyone else though, it’s open season.
The site is http://ventanon.com. The rules are pretty simple. Don’t post your name, the target of the vent’s name or details, no company names or slogans, no racial/religious/disability stereotypes. Otherwise free reign.
Goals: to become rich and famous I got bored last Tuesday.
Anyways, that’s it. Enjoy the site. And vent away… anonymously.
Oh yeah… I did the logo. my first go at it. Regular grocery bag with holes added using GIMP. Megan has a LOT of ideas for category specific images, but those are going to come later.
Original theme design is by WooThemes.com. I tweaked it to work for what I needed though and in the process went from CSS noob to CSS idiot.
