Apparently there are a lot of people happy about the fact that Facebook 3 for the iPhone is out. So much so that they are posting the news to their Twitter account (even I did). This seems somewhat silly because Facebook isn’t Twitter and vice versa. This gets compounded even more by the fact that “Facebook 3″ istrending #2 on twitter right now:

Apparently the difference in audiences between the two platforms isn’t as wide as some have thought. Still goes to show that people will use the easiest means available to push their news to the world. Besides, I’m not the only one who treats each platform separately having removed the applications that automatically update Facebook with my Twitter feed months ago because the audiences are different. But Twitter statuses are still “What are you doing” and at that moment I happened to be doing the happy dance about getting the new facebook app on my iPhone. Now I’m just waiting until an app comes out for Android and then I’ll be really happy.
