Software Testing Hall of Shame

498474_88753320Original Software has a software testing hall of shame.  Included is the latest $23 quadrillion dollar visa charge that happened and the subsequent $15 overdraft fees. Whether or not you’re a software tester, you should be able to appreciate the badness of these missed bugs. It’s a good read.

Somewhat reminds me of my battle with T-Mobile over not-unlimited-unlimited-text-messaging. They did finally agree with me that it was a bug and refunded my money and have since fixed the bug (and I have verified it).

Good link on a good topic. I guess that is why the search engine listed it
    anyway.

It is quite appreciative that someone is compiling a list of such bugs that
have costed fame, money, loss of trust, and more!

I always ask my students to research and prepare such a list (wikipedia has
one) to know the world they are entering into, viz. Software Testing.

    Ashwin.
